Fine Arts Faculty Exhibition

10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. • Museum of Art

This biannual exhibition is an opportunity for students to see their mentors' skills and theories put to practice in a diverse array of styles and media. The exhibition includes a wide variety of works from the artists who provide inspiration to WSU students daily.

Rededication of Wilson-Short Hall

4:00 p.m. • Terrell Mall in front of Wilson-Short Hall's grand entrance

Celebrate the many contributions of Dr. James F. Short Jr., professor emeritus of sociology, as WSU rededicates the newly restored Wilson-Short Hall in his honor.

Feast of the Arts - SOLD OUT

6:00 p.m. • Music and Art Reception, Museum of Art

Discover WSU's world-class arts at Feast of the Arts. The popular dinner series begins with a music and art reception, including wine and hors d'oeuvres, followed by an exquisite four-course gourmet dinner paired with premium, award-winning Cougar-connected wines from across Washington state. Each component is expertly created and presented by Washington State University's world-class faculty, students, staff, and alumni.

Seating is limited; reservations required; early reservations are recommended.

Greek Life Centennial Banquet

6:00-9:00 p.m. • Schweitzer Event Center

The Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life invites Greek alumni and students to the Centennial Banquet. A reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a cash bar in the lobby and garden area. Dinner and a program will follow.

WSU Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet

2009 Inductees include Craig Ehlo, Dick Fry, Keri Killebrew, Peter Koech, Bernard Lagat, Jim Walden, and Duke Washington.

Music Faculty Artist Series: Music for Strings and Voice with Julie Anne Wieck

8:00 p.m. • Bryan Hall Theatre

Join soprano Julie Wieck for a captivating evening of vocal chamber music, featuring WSU's string faculty and pianist Gerald Berthiaume. Compositions by Purcell, Rachmaninoff, and many others. All proceeds from the sale of tickets will benefit the School of Music scholarship fund.  Find out more about the series.
