WSU football history films, photos, and artifacts from our first game in 1894 up through 1931's Rose Bowl.

This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land; Photography by Don Normark; Issues of Eminent Domain

10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. • Museum of Art

In 1948, Don Normark photographed Chavez Ravine, a striking area of three Mexican-American neighborhoods less than two miles from Los Angeles City Hall. The year after Normark made his photographs, the land was given to Walter O'Malley, who was seeking a new home for his Brooklyn Dodgers, the stadium that now occupies the land. Normark's photographs of the once beautiful Ravine and its people, stand as a testament to the community that once flourished on 'this land'

Cougs in the Conner Museum: Prowl Our Collection of Big Cats

2:00-5:00 p.m. • Charles R. Conner Museum, Abelson Hall, first floor

Stroke the backs of our mountain lions and take the heads of lions and tigers into your hands. This exhibit lets you explore the biology of big cats - up close and personal. Share your own tales of encounters with mountain lions and other large felines.

Dad's Challenge

2:00-6:00 p.m. • Student Recreation Center Backyard

This 4-hour program provides an opportunity for you and your Dad to work together in groups and explore your limits on the high course.

Brewfest 2009 - Session I

Enjoy Cougs and Brews at Washington State University's 3rd Annual Brewfest. Tickets include gourmet food, live entertainment, a commemorative glass, and ten tasting tickets. Additional tastes are $1. All proceeds benefit Eta Sigma Delta International Hospitality Management Society.

Eighth Annual Cultural Exhibition Lu'au

The eighth annual Dad's Weekend Cultural Exhibition Lu'au, hosted by the Pacific Islanders Club, includes an unforgettable buffet-style dinner while raising cultural awareness and showcasing the wonders of the Pacific through song and dance. This year, donations of gently used clothes and toiletries will be sent to victims of the recent tsunami disasters throughout the Pacific Islands and East Asia. Expect to be wined and dined at this Feast of the Arts. The popular dinner series begins with a music and art reception, including wine and hors d'oeuvres, followed by an exquisite four-course gourmet dinner paired with premium, award-winning Cougar-connected wines from across Washington state. Each component is expertly created and presented by Washington State University's world-class faculty, students, staff, and alumni.

Vocal Extravaganza

7:00 p.m. • Bryan Hall Theatre

Enjoy an evening of uplifting performances by WSU's own Concert Choir, Madrigal Singers, University Singers, Opera Workshop, and VoJazz. These award-winning student groups will lift your spirits and delight your eyes and ears. 

Tickets available at the door on the evening of the performance beginning at 5:30 p.m. in Bryan Hall. Advance tickets available in the Kimbrough Hall lobby on November 10, 12, and 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
